Human-Created Content Policy

Version 1 · published 2026-10-13

Ideas made by people Pinbun’s public pins are reserved for human-created work. We prohibit generative-AI images and substantively AI-generated published descriptions, text, or promoted content. Do not publish a generated image because it has been lightly edited, traced, or presented as a photograph. What is welcome Human-made photographs, drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, designs, recipes, crafts, and other original creative work are welcome when you have the right to share them. Digital art is not automatically AI-generated. Conventional human-directed cropping, resizing, color correction, retouching without generative tools, and other non-generative editing are allowed. Material generative changes Generative fill, generated backgrounds, generated objects, and similar changes that materially add or replace image content fall under the prohibition. Automated resizing or conventional correction does not by itself make a human-created image generative content. If a process materially uses generative output, do not publish the result on Pinbun. Publishing and verification Creators attest that they have rights to the work and that the pin and the content it promotes follow this policy. Attribution, licensing information, and available provenance can help reviewers. Website verification establishes control of an exact hostname, not authorship of every image. A review badge, website verification, and an uploader’s attestation have different meanings. We do not guarantee that every submitted or reviewed image is human-made. Human decisions and appeals You can report suspected AI-generated content with an explanation and evidence. Human reviewers make content judgments. Reports, missing metadata, and any future automated detection signals are evidence to consider, not proof. We do not permanently ban someone solely on a detector score or coordinated reports. Creators receive reasons for moderation decisions and can appeal with provenance, process information, or licensing evidence. We preserve relevant private provenance before removing metadata from display images.
